These 5 recipes for back to school doesn’t just refer to students who are unaffected by the pandemic but those who are also doing online learning until they’re in the clear.
For me it is also a dilemma because my children do not like the food that the school canteen offers (but I also don’t mind because then I know what they eat and that it’s nutritional and filling) .
So, if you too have given up the school canteen and are wanting to prepare your own lunch you will have to take on commitments like preparing something every day that the children like and something nutritionally balanced.
Here are the original Italian recipes for tasty school lunches:
Panini–
Preparing a complete meal to take to school is not so simple and practical, especially if your household is always in a hurry like mine is. You need something fast to make life easier, as long as it’s nutritionally healthy. You can prepare panini with 2-3 slices of ham accompanied by vegetables or a slice of mozzarella with some tomatoes which are doused with olive oil.

Frittata (omelet)-
The frittata with potatoes is the recipe that children like very much because it is rich in potatoes and also very filling and substantial. If you don’t want to fry the potatoes, you can boil them and it will be more digestible.

There are also other types of simple frittata recipes that you can prepare, such as the frittata with peas, where you can add pieces of mozzarella. If you want the omelet to remain compact and lightly greased, you can cook it in the oven.

Polpette-
Among the foods most appreciated by children, there are undoubtedly meatballs. Meatballs are practical to take to school like how they can be prepared in advance.

You can prepare meatballs, or eggplant, zucchini, ricotta balls. As you can see, you can unleash your imagination in preparing these lunch treats.
