Delicious Fried Apple Rings
Ingredients
- 4 golden apples
- 150 g 00 flour
- 60 g brown sugar
- 2 egg
- 200 ml of milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1 lemon juice
Instructions
- Peel the apples, remove the core with the appropriate tool, and cut them into rounds of about 1cm thick (1/4 inch).
- Brush them with lemon juice to prevent them from becoming dark.
- Sift the flour together with the baking powder, salt, and add the milk.
- Add the sugar and eggs.
- Work everything with the electric whisk until the mixture is homogeneous. Leave to rest for about 30 min.
- Dip apple slices in the prepared batter and fry in plenty of hot oil.
- When they are golden brown, let them cool on paper towels and, once cold, cover them with icing sugar.
