If you adore sweets with puff pastry, you cannot avoid preparing these delicious sweets with fresh fruit, depending on the season you can vary with fruit, apples, peaches, even grapes as we are in autumn, kiwis or pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of pre-rolled puff pastry
  • 3 pears
  • 80 g granulated sugar 2.82 oz
  • 3 tbsp Marsala wine
  • 1 beaten yolk
  • toasted almond flakes optional
  • icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the pears, divide them into quarters, and reduce them into thin slices.
  2. Put them in a saucepan with 80 grams of sugar and marsala wine.
  3. Cook them over medium heat for about ten minutes, then remove them from the heat and let them cool.
  4. Divide the puff pastry into 6 regular squares.
  5. Divide the pears equally into the center of the squares of dough.
  6. Brush the perimeter of the puff pastry with a little beaten yolk and fold it into squares.
  7. Seal the edges well by applying pressure with your fingers and brush the surface with the remaining yolk, then sprinkle with a little granulated sugar and toasted almonds (optional).
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (395 °F) until golden brown (about 15/20 minutes).
  9. Take the puff pastries with pears and sprinkle them with icing sugar.
  10. Serve them still warm.

200g sugar(1cup)
200g butter ( 14 tbsp)
200g almond flour (2 cups)
60g flour 00 (1/2 cup)
2 eggs

Whisk the butter (kept at room temperature) and the sugar together until it's frothy.
In another bowl 🥣, beat the 🥚🥚 with a fork and add them to the frothy mixture.
Keep working with the whisk. When the 🥚🥚 are fully incorporated, add the almond flour and flour 00.
Cook the mixture over low heat in a steel saipan and continue stirring until it boils.
Remove the cream from the stove.
Let it finish cooling at room temperature and the refrigerate.
