Peel the apples, remove the core with the appropriate tool, and cut them into rounds of about 1cm thick (1/4 inch).
Brush them with lemon juice to prevent them from becoming dark.
Sift the flour together with the baking powder, salt, and add the milk.
Add the sugar and eggs.
Work everything with the electric whisk until the mixture is homogeneous. Leave to rest for about 30 min.
Dip apple slices in the prepared batter and fry in plenty of hot oil.
When they are golden brown, let them cool on paper towels and, once cold, cover them with icing sugar.
