Vin Brulè – Mulled Wine solo-dolce
Vin brulè is a very tasty, hot, and aromatic drink prepared with red wine.

- 250 ml red wine 8.4 oz
- 5 orange peels
- 1 slice of orange
- 2 lemon peels
- ¼ tsp grated nutmeg
- 2 cloves
- 1- star anise
- ½ stick of cinnamon
- 50 g sugar 4 tbsp
Cut the orange and lemon peel (without including the white part which would give the drink a bitter taste),
In a saucepan pours the sugar, then add the citrus peel, the spices, and finally the red wine.
Heat over low heat and bring to a boil, stirring with a wooden spoon, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Cook over low heat for another 5 minutes.
Strain the mulled wine through a dense mesh strainer and serve hot.
